How to delete keyframes in maya

Deleting a keyset is removing the keyset from animated objects without saving the keyset to the keys clipboard.

Note: There is no MEL command.

To set Delete Keys options

1. From the Key menu, select .
2. In the Delete Key Options window, do one of the following:
   • Click Delete Keys to set the Delete Keys options and delete the current key(s).

   • Click Apply to set the Delete Keys options and delete the current key(s).
   • Click Close to disregard any changes made to the Delete Keys options and close the Delete Keys Options window.

To delete keys

1. Do one of the following:
   • To select a single key, click the key in the Time Slider.
     Select Edit > Keys > Delete Keys.

   The Current Time Indicator moves to the clicked position and the key is now selected.
